うなぎは古代より滋養強壮の食べものとして私たちに親しまれてきました。特にビタミンを多く含んでいるため、視力の低下を防ぎ、免疫力を高めて風邪の予防や回復に役立ちます。また、内臓の働きを活発にするため、冷え症や低血圧にも効果的な食べものなのです。そんな栄養たっぷりのうなぎを、より身近な存在にしてくれたのが養殖技術。みなさんは、養殖発祥の地が浜名湖だということをご存じでしたか。浜名湖で初めてうなぎの養殖が始まったのが明治33年。今では「浜名湖＝うなぎ」というイメージも定着し、全国に有名な産物となっています。　うなぎの鈴恭では、昭和8年に養魚場を創業。以来70年余に渡って、うなぎの養殖に全力を注いできました。4,500坪の広大な敷地の中でのびのびと育てられたうなぎたちは、すくすくと成長し、柔らかくて肉厚の、健康的なうなぎとしてみなさまに愛され続けています。
